Aggregator for Europeana
The National Library of Serbia has been an accredited aggregator for Europeana since April 2019, when it became a full member of the Europeana Aggregators’ Forum.
Under the auspices of the Department for Digital Library Development and Microfilming, this service facilitates the submission of metadata and the inclusion of digital assets from the Republic of Serbia within Europeana – the European digital cultural heritage portal. The National Library of Serbia delivers metadata and resource links to Europeana, which then harvests the digital objects directly from the source servers. Europeana enhances the visibility of digitised collections and facilitates their integration into innovative projects.
